Can I go back on unemployment if I worked 2 months and was laid off?

I worked in NY for 3 years and was laid off.. I took a job in NJ and was laid off after 2 months because of "Lack of work." Can I continue to collect NY unemployment? I was unemployed for 4 months before i took the other job.
