Pell grant and NJ grant..refund check?

Ok. I'm transfering to a community college. And well I already did my financial aid and I checked my award letter. Anyways in a pell grant..I got $2,775 for the fall semester. Before this I also got a paper that said I will get $947 NJ tuition grant for the fall semester. Now on my award letter Im fully covered with the pell grant and have money left over. Now I'm wondering where is the NJ tuition grant? I didn't c it on the award letter. Should I call them and ask? And if I do ask and get it put into the award letter..is it possible to get a refund check of more than $1,000? Any advice? Thank you.
