What do you think happens to us when our body dies?

Im not religious but I think we reincarnate for soul development purposes. I dont mean we go straight to another body, I mean we review our right and wrong doings with our spirit guide and plan our next life experience, karma ect. (not in the buddha sense) I dont believe we come back as animals. :)
