Lots of ewcm....no positive opk...help!?

Hi, I'm new at ttc so please bear with me. Yesterday I had some cramping, and some ewcm, possibly ovulation? Today lots of EWCM but I tool an ovulation test twice and negative both times. Am I ovulation right now or did I miss the boat already ;(?
