When visiting the historical part of philadelphia is it better to stay near the airport or in new jersey?

Well the Airport is closer to downtown and has no bridge toll. Really you can jump on I-95N exit at Callow hill st. and be right near the Liberty bell & stuff in under 10 mins. You really going out of your way to go to Mt. Laurel. I'm just glad I don't make the commute any more. Rrt.73 is always backed up & rt. 295 not much better.
