Why are so many other countries so quick to point out America's wrong doings and mistakes, yet...?

Yet as soon as something goes wrong- whether it be a natural disaster, genocide, or invasion of an innocent nation- those same people are so quick to ask us for help. It seems as if no one notices that we feed and provide medicine and security for much of the third world, but God forbid we make one move that's in our own national interest or make one mistake then we are imperialistic pigs. Anyone else think it's time we go back to pre- WW2 isolationism and let Europe, Asia, and Africa deal with European, Asian, and African problems?
